• “3”. They are made for children aged 4 to 12 years weighing 22 – 36 kg. Usually, they come as backless booster seats. They have armrests and the child is secured with a standard car seat belt. Also, there are seats with a detachable back for this age group.

Features of child safety seat usage

1. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to install the accessory correctly.
2. Check the seat belts tension before you start driving. Controlling it is crucial when seasons change and after the period of wearing dense winter garments your child is dressed in lighter clothes or vice versa.
3. Сhild safety seats should be placed in the middle of rear seat row or right behind the driver’s seat. Products of the “0” group can be fastened on rear seats parallel to their back or installed on the front passenger seat. In the latter case, they should be rear-facing. Also, you will need to deactivate the front passenger airbag.
4. Non-removable seat covers should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations on removable seat cover care. Often these products can be washed. Replacing the cover or using the product without it is prohibited.
