Can I drive my VW with a faulty alternator?

• The cooling method. Most devices have an impeller. However, some vehicles with large engines feature water-cooled alternators. Antifreeze circulates around the system.
• Power. When additional electrical appliances and a high-capacity battery are installed, it may be necessary to install a more powerful alternator.
