Even though the OEM number OE 3M51-3K171-BH — FORD matched the one on my old part, the item supplied had a 21mm ball joint whereas my part had 18mm. I had already had the bearing inserted so I had to buy a 21mm ball joint to make it all go together. VERY annoying. So keep this in mind. Autodoc said I should have supplied my VIN number but I have only ever used my Reg when ordering parts !!

J.R.: Hello, just wanted to check some specs for this product 'RIDEX 1159S0053 Steering knuckle for FORD FOCUS, C-MAX' I know it says it is compatible with my 2007 Focus ST225 but there is a lot of issues with the difference between stock focus and ST knuckles regarding the lower arm ball joint connection. STs have a 21mm ball joint so if the hole for the lower arm connection is 21mm then that is perfect just need to know before purchase! Thank you for your time
