Chevrolet Nubira is a compact car in five-door sedan and station wagon bodies, which was released from 2005 to 2010.

Presentation of the Chevrolet Nubira model was held in 2004 at the Geneva Motor Show. Specialists of the the Italian company Pininfarina were involved in the development of the wagon design, but the appearance of the Chevrolet Nubira doesn’t have the elegance inherent in the Italian cars. The front end is concise and simple: a trapezoidal grille, large headlights and a protruding relief bumper. Unlike many wagons, the Chevrolet Nubira is deprived of visual heaviness, although it has impressive dimensions: 4580 mm long, 1460 mm tall and 1725 mm wide.

The Chevrolet Nubira interior is noted for restrained trim and thoughtful arrangement of instruments and controls. The instrument panel, not sparkling with original design solutions, at the same time is very informative and has a high degree of readability. Inexpensive, but high-quality plastic is used for the interior trim, all parts are carefully adjusted to each other and do not squeak while driving. Soft seats have virtually no lateral support and do not incline to fast driving, but have a wide range of adjustments. The steering wheel and gear lever are trimmed in leather, even in the basic version, in the highest trim level seat are also leather covered.

The Chevrolet Nubira luggage compartment with volume of 400 liters has a wide opening and a near-perfect shape. Due to the rear seats, its volume can be increased to 1410 liters.

Production of the Chevrolet Nubira was carried out until 2010.

In Asian countries the Chevrolet Nubira was sold under the name Daewoo Nubira, in the US - Suzuki Forenza, in Canada - Chevrolet Optra, in China - Buick Excelle, in Australia - Holden Viva.
