Nissan GT-R

Nissan GT-R sport cars production started in 2007. Manufacturing still continues in Japan at factories in Kaminokawa and Tochigi.

Nissan GT-R R35

Nissan GT-R Proto Concept was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001. Car differed by futuristic design. Reworked version of concept was presented in Tokyo in 2005 and used as basis for Nissan GT-R.

Presentation of Nissan GT-R production version took place in Tokyo in 2007. Car entered the market in December of that year. Sales of this model started on North American market in 2008; on European – in 2009.

Car was built on Nissan PM platform and came in coupe version. Driver and three passenger seats were in a cabin. Design was created under Shiro Nakamura supervision. Car body had a high corrosion resistance due to a high-quality paintwork and hand polishing of connections.

Model was equipped with Deutsch DampTronic suspension. Body frame of Nissan GT-R was produced with a high-pressure aluminum casting process. Pressed plates were mounted onto body frame. Carbon fiber composites were used for the construction strengthening.

Nissan GT-R R35 facelifts

Nissan GT-R got LED running lights and new bumpers in 2010. Car got modernized optics in 2011. Body was also strengthened.

New LED headlights and new taillights were installed on car in 2013. Also Nissan GT-R got an upgraded suspension and a steering system.

Nissan GT-R on different markets

Nissan GT-R Black Edition cars with a carbon spoiler intended for European market were produced in 2008-2014. Red and black leather was used for an interior trim.

Nissan GT-R Spec V modification models, equipped with twin-turbo, were manufactured in 2009-2014. Comparable model with improved dynamic characteristics, a leather upholstery and new wheel rims was sold as Nissan GT-R Egoist in 2010-2013.

Nissan GT-R Pure Edition «For Track Pack» with the right hand steering wheel was produced for markets of Japan, Australia, the UK and SAR in 2010-2013. Nissan GT-R «VVIP» was manufactured specially for Arabian countries since 2011.

One hundred of Nissan GT-R «Midnight Opal» cars were produced in 2013. These cars had unique exterior design and exclusive painting. Nissan GT-R «Track Edition» for American market and Nissan GT-R Nismo for Japan domestic market were produced that year.
