Nissan NoteProduction of Nissan Note 5-door hatchback started in 2005 and is still in process. 2 generations and 1 facelift were presented on the market. Car manufacturing was established in Japan.
Nissan Note E11Concept of Nissan Note was presented in 2004 during Praha Motor Show. Ready for a mass production car debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005.
Nissan Note exterior differed by its practical and stylish design. Front part of this car was decorated with large headlights, a long and narrow radiator grille, massive body kit where round fog lights were integrated. There were wide covers on front and rear bumpers and moldings on doors.
2 colors for an interior were available – Bossa Beige and Jet Black. Dash board looked original: there were 2 large faces of a speedometer and tachometer and a small fuel level unit scale between them. Control buttons were situated on a left part of a steering wheel; all devices and other switches were at driver’s hand. Another feature of Nissan Note was seats with the ability to transform, it allowed to make a luggage compartment more spacious.
List of options included rain and light sensors, an intelligent key, an automatic air-conditioner, airbags, and active head restraints. Extended configuration 15RX also included a sport suspension, a spoiler on a trunk lid and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Nissan Note E11 faceliftNissan Note restyling was presented during Paris Motor Show in 2008. Sales of renewed cars started the next year. Changes affected a front part: a new radiator grill with 2 long crossbars appeared instead of one with large amount of cell-units. Plastic cover on front bumper was chromed. Basic configuration included also a tinted sunscreen glass with an ultraviolet protection. There were also some interior changes: devices were decorated with a chromed border, a cruise-control appeared, and a new navigation system was installed.
Nissan Note E12The second generation of Nissan Note was presented in Detroit and then at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring 2013. Exterior underwent significant changes: a radiator grille of a new design was installed, headlights and rear optics changed, fog lights niches were decorated with a chromed border. Manufacturers could achieve results while working on a body improvement - an aerodynamic drag coefficient of cars of a new generation was 0.29.
Nissan Note passenger compartment also had much new: an informative dashboard, an infotainment system with a large bright display under which climate-control buttons were situated. Useful function Divide-N-Hide was added – it allowed changing height of trunk floor. Nissan Note E12 was presented in 3 configurations: Visia, Acenta and Tekna.
