The hail protection tarpaulin is made from particularly high-quality hybrid foam and has been specially developed and protected. The foam consists of a layer approx. 7 mm thick, which ensures optimum hail absorption and puncture protection. Steel balls with 3 different weights were dropped from different heights onto a bonnet covered with a hail protection tarpaulin. The effect of the impact of the steel balls was then visually checked by means of the dents formed on the bonnet. The test results showed that the Premium Hybrid SUV hail protection tarpaulin provides protection against hailstones up to a size of approx. 14 mm in diameter at an impact speed of 70 km/h. Overall, the hail protection tarpaulin has a thickness of approx. 8 mm. A paint-protecting fleece is attached to the inside and the outer layer is made of water-repellent material. The side material is also completely waterproof. There are 4 reflectors around the SUV and the red fluorescent edging strips increase the visibility of the vehicle.
