BEEPER RVU-7R1W Reversing camera kit, rearview mirror, with camera

Specially designed for commercial vehicles and coupling a reversing radar with waterproof connectors and a reversing video kit with micro-camera and 7'' LED screen. The BEEPER RVU-7R1W is ideal for your commercial vehicle.

Main features
The RVU-7R1W is a radar & video reversing kit for commercial vehicles (vans, light trucks)

- When reversing, the reversing video system is automatically activated.
- The screen allows you to visualize the rear blind spot to make your reverse maneuver in complete safety.

- Different colored template lines allow you to visualize the distances during a maneuver.

Note: The original selection is made for a camera positioned "horizontally", a screen fixed or glued from above & in reverse camera version (visible templates). To change the state of the loop, please disconnect the camera first, then reconnect it after the operation.

Installation of the sensors on the vehicle
The position of the sensors is shown in the diagram below. A drilling tool (hole saw) is provided with the product. We advise you to protect the bumper with an adhesive (painter's tape) in order not to damage the bumper during the drilling. A light sanding of the edges of the hole may be necessary after drilling.

The sensors must at least have an axis parallel to the ground, i.e. 90°, according to the perpendicular of the bumper (see diagram below).



The sensors must be placed at least 43 cm from the ground (see diagram below). They can be covered with a veil of paint for a perfect finish.
Installation of the camera on the vehicle


The adjustable angle of the camera allows you to position it in two different places on the vehicle, according to your choice or a technical constraint: on the top of the body (at the level of the upper brake light, see diagram A below) or on the bottom of the body (at the level of the plate light, see diagram B below).

/! If the camera is installed vertically, be sure to fill the hole at the top with the adhesive provided, to reinforce the seal and prevent water from entering the vehicle by capillary action.

WARNING - VEHICLES THAT DO NOT ALLOW A CONSUMER TO BE CONNECTED TO THE REVERSE LIGHT HARNESS
On some vehicles, the +12 V reversing light is interfered with when the engine is running, which can disrupt the correct operation of the reversing camera kit. In other cases, this +12 V Backup Light does not allow any additional power consumption.
For all these vehicles, Beeper has developed the RCANR2 module to retrieve the +12V Backup Light information from the CANBUS network. This module connects to the CANBUS of the compatible vehicle and delivers a +12V Backup Light for the connection of a backup camera.

Activating and deactivating the system
The system is automatically activated when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. It deactivates automatically when the vehicle is shifted into another gear or into neutral.

Installation of the display in the passenger compartment

The screen of the BEEPER RVU-7R1W is easily fixed on your original interior mirror, thanks to its 4 exensible legs.

Function of the screen
The 7'' screen of the BEEPER RVU-5W kit has several adjustable functions (luminosity, contrast, etc.). The adjustment is made using the +, MENU, - buttons, located on the back of the screen (see diagram below).

Using the Backup Camera


Supplied with a buzzer, the Beeper RVU-7R1W kit's back-up radar has a progressive audible alert system, allowing you to maneuver your utility vehicle safely.

- Between 150 and 250 cm, the alert is digital only (if screen & camera connected), with distance visualization on the screen.
- Between 100 and 150 cm, the buzzer emits spaced beeps.
- Between 50 and 100 cm, the buzzer emits beeps closer together.
- Between 30 and 50 cm, the buzzer emits a continuous beep.
