Today ATE brake kits are produced by Continental – one of the largest suppliers of automotive components.

The brand’s history dates back to 1906, when the German businessman Alfred Teves founded his company, and then presented its products at the International Motor Show Germany. ATE brake kits can contain components of the following lines:

• Original: this series includes both brake discs and pads designed for replacement of standard parts. Up to 160 friction compounds are available to customers, which allows them to choose products in full compliance with their vehicle’s operating conditions. All the brake pads work silently, don’t vibrate and ensure an optimal friction coefficient right from the first seconds of braking. As for the discs, they can feature a special anti-corrosion coating, which facilitates installation. This category also includes composite parts, which are characterised by low weight, and components with an integrated wheel hub bearing, etc.
• Ceramic: this is a range of ceramic brake pads. They have a long lifespan, are efficient in any operating mode, don’t cause premature wear-out of brake discs, and don’t produce dust.
• PowerDisc: these brake discs are intended for sport driving. Their surface features a specially designed groove that carries away dirt and moisture from the working area, thus ensuring maximum braking efficiency in rainy weather. Moreover, it allows you to easily control wear of the parts.
• Classic: this is a range of parts for classic cars, components for which can be hard to source.
