A radiator is one of the key heat exchangers in a vehicle. During combustion, the coolant absorbs heat from the engine and circulates through the radiator tubes. As air passes through, the coolant temperature drops, keeping the engine at a stable and efficient operating level. This process prevents overheating, improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.

NRF produces both mechanically assembled and brazed radiators, depending on the vehicle application.

In a brazed radiator, tubes and fins are bonded together using Nocolok® brazing technology, creating a strong metal connection that ensures optimal heat transfer. This design delivers up to 60% higher cooling efficiency than a mechanically assembled radiator, where small gaps between components reduce performance.

For vehicles equipped with towing systems or increased engine output, upgrading to a brazed radiator is the best choice for enhanced cooling and long-term reliability.

NRF also offers radiators with a part number ending in “A” — these are mechanically assembled versions of brazed radiators. They maintain NRF’s high quality standards while providing a more economical solution for customers looking for a cost-effective alternative without compromising reliability.

All NRF 29036 radiators are designed for perfect fitment and durability. With the Easy Fit concept, every radiator includes the required mounting accessories — such as O-rings, adaptors, clamps and clips — directly in the box. This saves workshops time and ensures a quick, professional installation.
