LEXUS CT parts: find out more! Which ones to choose, when to change them, and how much they cost

Lexus CT is a hybrid car, which has been produced since 2010 to our days. Assembly of cars is located in Japanese city Miyawaka. Thanks to its worthy technical characteristics as well as stylish design and high degree of comfort, in 2011 the model has received the title "Best Small Car 2011 Over $35,000" in Australia. In the same year, this car won the Asian Auto Fuel Efficiency Awards. Furthermore, the model has successfully passed a series of crash tests as part of the Japan New Car Assessment Program, and received the Grand Prix award for highest safety performance.

A presentation of Lexus LF-Ch Compact Concept was held in 2009 in Frankfurt. Built on its base model Lexus CT was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. Mass production started in December 2010. As the cars initially targeted at the European market, sales in the United States began only in 2011.

Lexus CT Cars are produced in five-door hatchback body made of high-strength steel. The design is based on the Toyota New MC platform. Impact beams are built in the doors. The model has light alloy wheels.

The car body has impressive dimensions: length is 4320 mm, height - 1440 mm, width - 1765 mm. These parameters provide the spaciousness of the interior and luggage compartment.

Lexus CT model is available in four versions: Comfort, Executive, Luxury and Eco. The base version has seats, covered with fabric, and more expensive versions have leather-trimmed interior. A steering wheel in all cars is covered with leather and wood. Driver’s comfort is provided by a multifunction steering wheel, start/stop engine button, power windows and an adjustable in six directions seat.

In designing the car, the most attention was paid to safety. Thanks to its special design, the steering column collapses in a collision. Seats in the car are manufactured by whiplash injury lessening technology, thereby reducing the risk of the cervical spine damage in an accident. Regardless of the model configuration, the car is equipped with advanced active safety systems, including anti-lock brakes (ABS), Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and high altitude compensator (HAC). There are three driving modes for driver’s choice: Eco, Normal and Sport.

In 2010 production of sports modification Lexus CT F-sport started. In distinction from model Lexus CT, the CT F-sport has electrochromic glass in the side mirrors, door sill covers, a modified grille, a rear spoiler, and tinted rear side windows. In the front panel there is an aluminum insert and pedals have aluminum moldings. The list of basic features is extended by front and rear parking sensors, intelligent access control and engine start system Smart entry. The driver's seat is automatically adjusted in eight directions.

In 2013 models Lexus CT and Lexus CT F-sport were facelifted. Compared with its predecessor, the Lexus CT has increased by 30 mm in length and 5 mm in height. The width has remained unchanged. As before, the cars are available in five-door hatchback body, but the design and technical equipment were upgraded. External changes mainly affected the front bumper.

As a result of the facelifting, the model Lexus CT is available in five variants: Standard, Comfort, Executive, Luxury, Sport Edition. The Luxury trim level includes electric sunroof.
