AIC 58418 Power steering hose for FORD FIESTA, FUSION from hydraulic pump to steering gear

This is the only PAS high pressure hose from pump to steering rack/gear worth buying (on the whole of the internet!) if you have a) right hand drive (UK) b) manual gears NOT automatic c) HAS air-conditioning. There is a genuine OEM Ford Fiesta/Focus one however it is ridiculously expensive. This hose is very good value for money. High quality and low price from AIC. You need to buy a new pressure switch separately. You can also decide to use the old brackets and move them over to this hose however, it will work as it comes, as long as you use cable ties or something similar (galvanised multi-strip strapping). The 18mm nut (adaptor or union) is fixed onto the hard-line already (push click fit) and the nylon washer is already assembled so you can simply use a 18mm crows foot spanner to get it torqued up into the PAS pump (pump is driven by its own solo stretchy belt on air-con models). The other good news is that by cutting the old hose out and then feeding this new one in, you can get it installed without loosening the subframe or steering rack. It is fiddly though! Comes with rubber O ring seal for the steering rack end of the hard-line. No more grinding or cutting the old nut off as well. Just buy a whole new AIC hose-line from Autodoc.
