Powered directly in "plus after contact" and via the rear reversing light, the BEEPER RWEC200X-BL can be used in rear view and for reversing maneuvers.

Its IP67 certified color camera is waterproof and resistant to dust and water splashes. With an operating voltage of 12V DC, the BEEPER RWEC200X-BL is perfectly suited for motorhomes but also for commercial vehicles, industrial vehicles, vans...

Main functions
Each component of the BEEPER RWEC200X-BL has been designed for a use in all serenity:

- Galvanized aluminum camera housing

White dual vision camera
The dual vision of the RWEC200X-BL system allows it to be used as a rear view camera but also as an electronic rear view mirror. The camera has 2 lenses:
- the first one offers a wide and deep vision to monitor the rear field of the vehicle.
- The second one is directed towards the bumper and allows to monitor the rear proximity of the vehicle to avoid any risk of collision while reversing.

Night Vision
The camera in the Beeper RWEC200X-BL kit is equipped with 16 infrared LEDs, which have the ability to detect the level of light, thus providing the most effective night vision possible.

Please note that the operation of the LEDs is not perceptible to the naked eye.

These LEDs are a real asset for night vision, however they can sometimes distort the real colors of surrounding objects or obstacles (eg: pink vegetation). However this constraint remains negligible compared to the global performances of the product.

Distance display templates
Distance display template lines appear on the screen. These lines allow to evaluate the distances between the vehicle and the obstacle. These template lines can be deactivated during the installation of the product if you wish.

Screen functions

AV1- AV2 : Selection of camera 1 or 2 If you have installed 2 cameras or if another video source (DVD player, ...) is connected to the screen, this button allows you to switch the second video source.

Possible settings :

- rotation of the image from top to bottom possible
- inversion of the image right-left or mirror effect: useful if the camera is moved to the front This function is useful at the installation or in case of change of position of the screen or the camera

WARNING - VEHICLES FORBIDDING TO CONNECT A CONSUMER TO THE REAR LIGHT BEAM
On some vehicles, the +12 V Backup Light is interfered with when the engine is running, which can disrupt the proper operation of the backup camera kit. In other cases, this +12 V Backup Light does not allow any additional power consumption.
For all these vehicles, Beeper has developed the RCANR2 module to retrieve the +12V Backup Light information from the CANBUS network. This module connects to the CANBUS of the compatible vehicle and delivers a +12V Backup Light for the connection of a backup camera.
