Valve, fuel supply system SL10069-12B1 DELPHI is not like a switch and it does not close the fuel supply circuit. It works sending strictly measured parts of exhaust gases back to the intake manifold, then the gases are mixed with the intake air, and a lean mixture with a much lower oxygen concentration enters to the diesel cylinders and this reduces the combustion temperature inside the cylinders.
