I purchased this item in December 2024 after my oem throttle body failed due to an electric spring. Instead of paying a fortune for an oem, I opted for this and have been pleasantly surprised to have run into zero issues with this item over almost 15,000 miles of mixed driving. There is no coding required to run this, just fit and forget, maybe an occasional clean of the butterfly valve with a rag for any carbon buildup. Would definitely recommend for your 1.0 MPI engine.
