My vehicle is a 1997 Honda Civic Coupe and parts are becoming increasingly more difficult to source especially as main agents don't stock many, if any, parts for older models. Autodoc advised me that the brake drums I've ordered are compatible with my vehicle. I've used Autodoc before and found the company to be very helpful with any enquiries prior to purchase. Their prices are in my view competitive. Having recently been scammed trying to find a replacement petrol tank on-line for my car, I just wished Autodoc stocked more items for older vehicles like mine but I accept they can't hold everything. Maybe there is an opportunity here to help people with older vehicles source replacement parts - e.g. petrol tanks for a 1997 Honda Civic Coupe?

C.S.: My local HONDA dealer no longer stocks rear brake drums for my old car. They have provided me with two OE Ref numbers. They are 42610-SR1 -000 and 42610-SR3-000. They say the last OE number superceded the earlier one but they don't know why. Am I correct in that this item will be suitable for my vehicle? It is a HONDA Civic Coupe 1.6 Ls.
