J.C.: Hi I’m going though things I’m interested in ordering from Autodoc for my year 2010 Skoda Octavia Mk2 L&K Estate 1.8L TSI and on your web site I’ve noticed your listing for “ROMIX 90207 Fastening Element, engine cover” ; .Item number 90207, trade numbers ROMIX 90207, EAN number 5907628620786.
Your listing confirms the ROMIX 90207 is suitable for my Octavia
My under engine cover (cowling), part number 1K0 825 237 is conventionally attached with N909 747 01 self tapping screws, N909 591 01 speednuts and a few 1K0 825 951 M6 bolts.
I kind of figure that the ROMIX 90207 must be some sort of improved attachment arrangement for the under engine cover, perhaps enabling the cover to be detached more easily or quickly when say wanting to change engine oil? The plastic button head clips do however somewhat surprise me.
Can I please ask if there’s anyone on you team that can tell me what the ROMIX 90207 kit is designed to do or achieve?
Sorry to ask about this. I tried going onto ROMIX’s Polish web site but there doesn’t appear to any info on their web site as to the intention or advantages of the 90207.
