Production of Mercedes-Benz CLA Class began in 2013 and continues nowadays. At the market cars are presented in a body of a sedan. Assembling of cars is organized in Hungary and India.

Concept Style Coupe was presented in 2012 within Avant/Garde Diaries in Los Angeles. Later it was shown at the Chinese motor show. The debut of a Mercedes-Benz CLA Class C177 stock coupe took place in 2013 at the North American International motor show. Since 2015 sales of the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Classe X117 station wagon have begun.

This car is distinguished by sport style and fine running characteristics from other representatives of the model range of the German producer. The exterior of the car has similar lines with Mercedes-Benz CLS Class, but the design of stock cars slightly differs from a concept. The front part is decorated by a massive black radiator grille with the chrome plated inserts and silvery lamels creating visibility of incrustation by jewels. The big hood with the acting reinforcement ribs is also a specific feature of the car.

LED and lighting modules of Mercedes-Benz CLA Class are located under the headlight glass. Such decision allowed to achieve a bright directional light for running lights and direction indicators.

The surface of all elements of Mercedes-Benz CLA Class interior is covered with a "Silvershadow" galvanic colour layer that creates visibility of use of a large amount of metal in inner trimming. There are five round deflectors of a ventilation system on the dashboard with a possibility of setup of the direction of blowing. The display with the chrome plated fringing is located at proper distance from the driver, the telephone module with the Bluetooth interface is placed in the central armrest, 12 control buttons are placed on a steering wheel.

Seats with four-stage lumbar support are located in the passenger compartment. In backs of front seats there are two air chambers that make seats comfortable and ergonomic. All cars are equipped with electronic system of adjustment of front seats with parameters storing function and heating. Backs of rear seats can be folded separately that allows to increase the volume of baggage compartment from 495 to 1 354 l in the station wagon.

The safety system includes the Adaptive Brake system with the HOLD function which prevents the spontaneous movement of a car at short stops. Also the electric parking brake and system of automatic switching of headlights are responsible for safety.

There is one more special feature of Mercedes-Benz CLA Class - it is a possibility to setup the side mirror near the passenger in such a way that it was possible to examine a back wheel. Thanks to the Parktronic system with function of search of a parking space and the parking departure assistant, Mercedes-Benz CLA Class is considered one of the most comfortable cars.
