The Subaru sport coupe production is performed since 2012 until now. Nowadays one generation of the model is presented. A manufacture of cars is established in Ota, Japan.

In 2011 the Subaru BRZ Concept STi was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The newcomer was co-developed by Subaru and Toyota and was constructed on a modified platform of Subaru Impreza. A vivid and good-looking sport car was taken well by the audience and in 2012 a commercial Subaru BRZ has come into the market.

An automotive design was typical for sport cars. A streamlined body, a salient mudguard, a road-hugging silhouette, a saddle-like hood and a wide wheel housing corresponded the classical style of sport cars. The distinguishing feature of the exterior was the absence of a grille: a hexagonal air intake in the front bumper was performed instead of it. The vehicle had got a fairly small coefficient of the aerodynamic - 0,27.

A vehicle interior with 2+2 seat arrangement is simple and comfortable. Front seats with low mounting provide good lateral and lumbar support. A steering column is adjustable by an angular position and lever. A control panel is wrapped with a soft rubberized plastic. The seats are covered with alcantra and black leather with a red line. In a decoration of a door panel and a control lever genuine leather is also used. Silver fill pieces from the rigid plastic, digital clock and an audio system looks a little old-fashioned. Devices have got bright red and amber internal light. A dual-zone climate control ensures a comfortable microclimate inside the vehicle. Volumetric capability of the baggage compartment is only 243 liters but it can be increased by folding the rear seats to the back.

The Subaru BRZ vehicles are featured with a brake assist and anti-lock braking systems, a stability and anti-slip control, an electric power steering system, a climate control equipment, electric window regulators and other useful options.

Production of the Subaru BRZ vehicles is currently being implemented.
