I chose this because I measured the one I removed- both cable length and sheathing length. I weighed it too & all the data matched. Lastly, I compared what it looked like online compared to our worn original- it looked exact. It also had 3 rubber grommets to cope with the extra length- which the old one also had. NOTE: This item was not what Autodoc's 'experts' told me to purchase. They can only work from the data they're given and stored on the internet. It's often incorrect. Our van is right hand drive, so it needed a cable almost twice the length that the left hand versions use. This page also mentioned 'right hand drive'. None of those suggested did. I hope this helps someone!
