H.: Is this a set of 4 pads? Why are they so much cheaper than buying the pads individually and why would they come in a set of 4 instead of 2?

P 50 033X BREMBO comes as a set (4 pieces - 2 per each side) for the axle. It is made so because of safety issues. The whole axle needs to be replaced to prevent weak brake affect. Note that prices depend on brand, supplier, discounts.
