Finally cured my creaking front nearside suspension over uneven surfaces (especially on hot days) after failing to do so by replacing the lower suspension arms and gearbox mount. The only part showing any wear on the original VW parts was the lower bearing (marked SKF) which had some play and felt gritty. The upper mount (marked ZF with Lemforder logo) still looked good . The kit seems to be of high quality and Meyle seems well regarded on the various fora and by US parts suppliers. I just wish they provided all the fittings to go with it as VW states they should be replaced. I see now the Monroe kit seems to have them all included.
