I chose the PLUS version of the RIDEX oil filter because I have so far been exceedingly impressed by the RIDEX brand. Autodoc seem to have managed to source a huge range of high quality products at reasonable prices that are comparable with the OE item. They demonstrate superior skill in consistently obtaining great products; the relationships Autodoc must have built to do this must be superb, especially such relationships with makers and suppliers that are top notch and will not let the brand down. I think it is a feat to do this. Many names have tried this and drop the ball, ending up with inconsistent quality across their range making them a very hit and miss choice. Big names such as those local suppliers you know so well, seem unable or perhaps unwilling to really make a strong effort.
