Steel balls with 3 different weights were dropped from different heights onto a bonnet covered with a hail protection tarpaulin. The test results showed that the Premium Hybrid SUV hail protection tarpaulin provides protection against hailstones up to a size of approx. 14 mm in diameter at an impact speed of 70 km/h. Overall, the hail protection tarpaulin has a thickness of approx. 8 mm. A paint-protecting fleece is attached to the inside and the outer layer is made of water-repellent material. The side material is also completely waterproof. There are 4 reflectors around the SUV and the red fluorescent edging strips increase the visibility of the vehicle.
