The lever is often marked with a bonnet symbol or the word "bonnet". Pull the lever towards you to release the primary bonnet latch without opening it completely. Then exit the vehicle and go to the front of the vehicle. Locate the secondary latch in the centre of the front of the vehicle, just above the Ford emblem.
