LPR 2413 Master Cylinder, clutch

Very simple swap out - would be great if suppliers could include a small cable tie to re- secure the reservoir hose to this cylinder - I had one as I was a mechanic by trade - but many won’t and it’s not secure enough to remain 100% leak free without a cable tie or tiny jubilee clip. Note the ball socket on the pushrod end is very tight good as it prevents rod popping off the ball socket on the clutch pedal but it’s a bit aukward to get access too and needs some levered help from a long flat blade screwdriver to ‘pop it’ onto its location. Very good value and when bled through slave cylinder on top of gearbox under battery and tray it works perfectly for circa £30 very pleased. Note some suggestions of accessing bled nipple without removing battery tray is nonsense - trying to access the small alien key valve, remove the rubber dust cover from the independant bleed nipple whilst attaching a bleed pipe etc is fantasy - it would be more frustrating than simply removing the battery 1 x 10mm spanner Earth lead on side connector support panel same 10mm spanner release a few loom clips attached to battery tray then 3 x 13mm tray retaining bolts - 2 visible under battery and one inside ‘an access hole’ in the tray. The two large electrical connectors attached to the electronic module fixed to the side of the tray simply pull off once each has its integral retaining clip released simply by hand Note lots of garbage on forums etc on ‘pre sealed systems and no method of bleeding hydraulics etc. no hydraulic system if ‘broken’ can remain ‘Un bled’ use good quality, DOT 4 new fluid only to refill and bleed as brake fluid is hydroscopic and over time, absorbs moisture from the atmosphere - why fluid MUST be changed at intervals specified in both clutch and on braking systems great value - thanks auto doc but PLEASE reduce the inane pop up ads and offers - it’s not a gaming site!!!
