Brake hoses are always to be replaced in a set. The service life of these components is limited, so over time their performance characteristics deteriorate, and efficiency of transmitting the braking force reduces. Bleed the brake system of the FIAT PUNTO (188) vehicle. For this purpose, you will need a transparent hose and a container half filled with brake fluid. One end of the hose is to be connected to the bleeder valve; the second end should be dropped into the container with the braking fluid. Then ask an assistant to press the brake pedal 3-5 times, and then hold it pressed for a few seconds. Next, loosen the bleeder valve to release air from the system, and when fluid without air bubbles begins to flow from the hose, tighten the valve. Repeat the procedure several times for each mechanism, starting with the rear wheel furthest from the master brake cylinder, and ending with the front wheel closest to it. When doing the work, make sure that the brake fluid level in the tank is always above the "minimum" mark.
