I've tried a few oils and my M57 engine in bmw works fine on Shell. Also, the oil doesn't burn and the oil is still fine when I change it after 6k miles, which is not obvious for other oils.

Used this oil for changes after approx 16k miles. No issues. No metal etc. Best used with a Mann oil filter in my eyes. I have used this every year for 6 years+.
