DDiS engines: operating characteristics of Suzuki diesel engines with Common Rail
DDiS, or Diesel Direct Injection System is the designation for Suzuki diesel engines with Common Rail direct injection system. Usually, engines are equipped with variable geometry turbochargers and intercoolers. To date, all DDiS engines have 4 cylinders arranged in a line. The common fuel rail contains piezoelectric injectors, which allows for more efficient fuel consumption and reduces harmful emissions to the atmosphere.
